“Having the right fitting bra can make a huge difference to your self-esteem. I was more comfortable and felt better about myself”

Kate’s faves:

I’m a doula, and I found Bravado when doing an online search for a client. I went for a fitting when my second son was eight-months old – should have gone sooner! The fitter was so nice and I felt so welcomed and comfortable.

I was surprised to find how many styles fit and how comfortable most of them were. My fave is the Essential Nursing Tank in 36D/DD(E).

The Essential Nursing Tank doesn’t have a cup, so skin-to-skin contact is easy with my baby. I layer the tank under a shirt when I’m out with my baby because it makes for easier nursing in public.

What worked for me:

I learned that having the right fitting bra can make a huge difference to your self-esteem. I was more comfortable and felt better about myself, and that definitely affected my breastfeeding experience in a positive way.

Mom-to-mom:

I would recommend getting the Essential Nursing Tank while pregnant, as it is super-stretchy and can accommodate your growing chest and tummy, plus it works for breastfeeding after baby comes.

Go-to nursing snack:

Trail mix! I like it with raw cocoa nibs, almonds, dried cranberries, pumpkin and sunflower seeds.

Multitasking

Oh my, where to start! While breastfeeding I coach clients over the phone and email, check Facebook, update my website, read to my older son, shop online and eat dinner.
